Manila, March 3 -- The high ratings shown by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in the latest OCTA Research Survey is clear proof that the communist insurgents failed in its campaign to "demonize" government security troops, National Security Adviser (NSA) Eduardo Ano said on Monday.
According to OCTA's "Tugon ng Masa" survey on Nov. 10 to 16, 2024 with 1,200 respondents, the AFP earned an outstanding +73 percent net trust rating and +74 percent overall net satisfaction.
"This positive support sends a clear and powerful message that the Communist Party of the Philippines- New People's Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) has utterly failed in its decades-long campaign to demonize our state security forces," Ano said in a ...
