Manila, Feb. 3 -- Senator Sherwin Gatchalian is pushing for the passage of a measure that seeks to introduce reforms on the licensure examination for teachers.
Senat Bill No. 52 seeks to further amend the Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994 (Republic Act No. 7836) by expanding the membership of the Board for Professional Teachers, and introduces separate examinations for special needs and early childhood education on top of those administered for the elementary and secondary levels.
