Manila, Feb. 27 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has denied reports claiming that the PHP350 daily subsistence allowance increase of all military personnel has been disapproved.

"Contrary to these misleading reports, the PHP350 daily subsistence allowance increase has been successfully incorporated into the approved 2025 General Appropriations Act," the military said in its Facebook post Wednesday.

Previously, the daily subsistence allowance of AFP personnel was only PHP150 a day, which is generally used for food and meal expenses.

There are around 150,000 military personnel nationwide.
