LEGANES, Sept. 10 -- San Miguel Brewery Inc. (SMB) will hold the groundbreaking for a new production facility in Barangay Gua-an, Leganes, Iloilo on September 20. SMC president and chief operating officer Ramon S. Ang will lead the groundbreaking ceremony, together with Senator Franklin Drilon, Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., Leganes Mayor Vicente Jaen II, Gua-an Barangay Captain Alberto Capajay Jr., and other Iloilo local government officials. The completion of the new production facility is expected in about two years. It will have an initial capacity of one million hectoliters.
