Manila, July 16 -- The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Wednesday Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 could be hoisted in portions of Cagayan Valley either Wednesday night or early Thursday due to Tropical Depression (TD) Crising.

Crising packs maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 55 kph.

As of 4 p.m., it was located 625 km. east of Virac, Catanduanes, moving west-southwestward at 20 kph.

If Crising maintains its westward movement, the hoisting of Signal No. 1 in Catanduanes is also possible, PAGASA said.
