Manila, Jan. 25 -- The shear line and the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will continue to bring rains to parts of the country, the weather bureau said Sunday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line will bring heavy rains over Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro.

Soccsksargen, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Bukidnon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms, also due to the shear line.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to "at times heavy rains." ...
