Manila, Feb. 10 -- The shear line and the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will continue to affect many parts of the country, the weather bureau said on Tuesday.
In its 4 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Visayas, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Dinagat Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
PAGASA said Occidental Mindoro, Cebu, Leyte, Eastern Samar, Samar, Northern Samar, Sorsogon, and Biliran will experience 50 mm. to 100 mm. of rainfall.
It warned that localized flooding is possible mainly in areas that are urbanized, low-lying, or near rivers.
