Manila, Jan. 2 -- The northeast monsoon (amihan), shear line, and warm easterlies will bring rains over most parts of the country on Friday, the weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Western Visayas, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Romblon, Palawan, and Northern Samar.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
