Manila, Feb. 9 -- Senator Sherwin Gatchalian is pushing for the passage of a bill renaming the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) as National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP), which will also be declared the national professional institution for aviation.
Gatchalian emphasized the need to promote aviation safety and security following recent air crash incidents in the country, according to a news release Sunday.
