Manila, June 3 -- Senators adopted on Tuesday Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 21, formally urging the creation of a Cabinet Cluster for Education to streamline and harmonize policies across the country's education agencies amid growing concerns over learning outcomes and systemic inefficiencies.
Sponsored by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, the resolution seeks to institutionalize a high-level inter-agency mechanism that will ensure the cohesive implementation of education laws, reforms, and programs across the Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), among others.
