Manila, Feb. 19 -- The total amount of illegal drugs confiscated since July 2022 under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has reached PHP56.37 billion, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported on Wednesday.

The PDEA said 131,578 drug suspects, including 8,404 high-value targets, have also been arrested in 97,406 anti-narcotics operations.

From July 2022 to Jan. 31, 2025, authorities seized 7,298.23 kilograms of shabu; 89.19 kg. of cocaine; 121,022 pieces of ecstasy tablets; and 6,247.70 kg. of marijuana, the PDEA report said.

A total of 1,304 drug dens and two clandestine shabu laboratories were dismantled during the same period.
