MANILA, April 20 -- Police security operations remain in full swing as vacationers start making their way back to Metro Manila after spending the Holy Week break in the provinces.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin said over the weekend that inspections will continue as well as the monitoring of police deployments on the ground.

Aberin said increased police presence and assistance desks will remain in places of convergence, while visibility patrols and coordination with terminal authorities and local government units will continue.
