MANILA, Nov. 24 -- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has teamed up with the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) for greater cooperation aimed towards mutual assistance and information exchange to bolster each country's capital market.
SEC, in a press release Monday, said signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Nov. 4.
"Under this MoU, the SEC and SERC will work together on regulatory supervision and enforcement; capacity-building and training; and technical collaboration in sustainable finance, fintech, and market digitalization," SEC Chairperson Francis Lim said during the ceremony.
