Manila, Jan. 25 -- Over a month after winning a bronze medal with a Philippine team in the 2026 Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) in Thailand, Fil-Italian Agostino Teofilo Alfieri on Saturday led his Italian hockey team to two victories to reach the finals of the Campionato di Series A2 at Pallatorino in Rome, Italy.
The 28-year-old team captain showed his leadership and scoring prowess on the court as HCU Rassemblement- CUS Torino dominated Savona, 6-2, in the quarterfinals and Genoa, 5-2, in the semifinals.
"Today, we achieved another victory against Savona and Genoa. This is an important tournament for the team," Alfieri said in an interview.
