Manila, July 1 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday marked the beginning of the hybrid digital filing of certain petitions before the tribunal.

In a press briefing, SC spokesperson Camille Ting said lawyers must first register and create an account on the Philippine Judiciary Platform (PJP) before they can electronically file their pleadings through the eCourt PH app.

The cases covered by eFiling shall include petitions for review and certiorari under Rule 45 of the Rules of Civil Procedure Review of judgments and final orders of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and Commission on Audit (COA) under Rule 64; petitions for certiorari prohibition or mandamus under Rule 65; petitions for contempt; petitions for the issuance of prerogative wr...
