Manila, Dec. 7 -- San Beda University punched its ticket to the NCAA Season 101 men's basketball finals, relying on graduating forward Yukien Andrada to outlast College of Saint Benilde (CSB), 84-81, in their do-or-die final four match Sunday.
Andrada finished with 27 points and four rebounds in Game 3 at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
"[I want to] give credit to CSB for making their shots but I really just trusted one guy and that's Yukien Andrada," San Beda coach Yuri Escueta said of the sixth overall pick in the 2025 Philippine Basketball Association draft.
"Yuki is a very unselfish guy. All season long, he allowed his teammates to feel their shots but when the lights are brighter, he's ready to step up."
