Manila, Aug. 28 -- The Samar provincial tourism office launched a "Kuratsa" Dance competition to raise public awareness about the traditional dance in the province amid the viral video dance, showing a "money showering" with Governor Sharee Ann Tan.

Lemuel Palejaro, senior tourism operations officer, said in a phone interview Thursday that they invited netizens to upload their Kuratsa videos on Facebook and use the official hashtag #KuratsaSamarnon until Sept. 1.

"Just make sure the video is set to public so it can be viewed by judges. The best 10 Kuratsa videos will be chosen as finalists. We will announce the finalists in the first week of September. They will perform live on Sept. 12 at the Samar Convention Center in Catbalogan City,...
