Dumaguete City, Aug. 4 -- The Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board in Region -Central Visayas (RTWPB-7) will be conducting a series of public hearings on a possible minimum wage hike for private workers and domestic workers in Cebu, Bohol and Negros Oriental this August.
In a statement on Monday, the RTWPB-7 said the schedule of hearings will be as follows: Aug. 19 at DepEd Ecotech Center in Lahug, Cebu City; Aug. 28 at Bethel Guest House in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental; Aug. 29 at Metro Centre Hotel and Convention Center in Tagbilaran City, Bohol; and on Aug. 31 at Anjo World Convention Center in Minglanilla, Cebu.
