Manila, Oct. 14 -- Leyte 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez on Tuesday attended the hearing of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) to "clarify the issues" on the anomalous flood control projects and "help uncover the truth."

"I am here to cooperate fully and help uncover the truth. Wala akong itinatago at walang dapat itago (I am not hiding and will not hide anything). While I was not part of the bicameral conference committee, whatever I know, I will share," Romualdez said in an ambush interview before the hearing.

He said his purpose is to "clarify the issues and share whatever information" he can that may help the ICI in its work, and help ensure that the truth comes out.
