Manila, Jan. 14 -- Ride-hailing taxi company Green and Smart Mobility, Inc. (Green GSM) has suspended a driver accused of sexual harassment by a passenger following an investigation launched by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

In a statement on Wednesday, Green GSM said the incident is "unacceptable and is considered an isolated case."

"It does not represent the standards, values, or driver culture upheld by Green GSM, and it runs counter to the principles on which our service operates. The driver involved has been immediately suspended from operations pending the outcome of the investigation," it said.
