Manila, Jan. 8 -- Ombudsman Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla has tasked the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to identify individuals behind an organized campaign to spread slanderous social media posts about his health.

"There's really an orchestrated campaign. I don't know for what purpose pero tingin ko (but I think), it's part of the propaganda machine of some political parties," Remulla said in a press conference.

"Pinapaimbestigahan ko yan. kasi we've reached the limit of cyberlibel already. Kaya tignan natin kung saan pupunta," (I want it investigated because we've reached the limit of cyberlibel already. Let's see where it goes)," he added.
