Manila, Jan. 13 -- Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Tuesday heaped praises on the Philippine National Police (PNP) for its improved professionalism, citing survey results showing that the police force now enjoys its highest public trust rating.

In a Palace press briefing, Remulla said the PNP's reform initiatives have contributed to the agency's improved standing, with its trust score reaching 80 percent based on the latest OCTA Research survey.
