Manila, Feb. 5 -- The temporary removal of a U-turn slot along C5 Road in Paranaque City has been "approved in principle," as part of efforts to improve the traffic situation in Metro Manila, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Wednesday.
In a Palace briefing, MMDA Chairperson Romando Artes said the removal of the U-turn slot along the C5-Kalayaan Avenue Interchange was one of the "major" recommendations raised during a meeting with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Malacanan Palace in Manila on Tuesday.
Artes said there is also a recommendation to install a stop light and construct an underpass to ensure smooth traffic flow along the area.
