Manila, Feb. 19 -- The Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI) on Wednesday said it has recorded a record-breaking number of participants for the Flower Float Parade on Feb. 23 that is expected to draw thousands of spectators.

The float parade is one of the most awaited events of the annual Panagbenga festival.

"We have a record-breaking participation for this year with 42 flower floats that will parade," Evangeline Payno, chief of staff of the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Executive Committee, said in a press conference here.

She said that in 2024, Panagbenga also made a record-breaking number with 33 floats but this is surpassed by this year's list of participants.
