Manila, Jan. 7 -- Multiple weather systems will keep most of the country wet, while the northeast monsoon or "amihan," brings cooler weather, a forecaster said Wednesday.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail across Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Northern Samar due to the shear line.
The same weather conditions will prevail across Palawan due to a trough of a low pressure area (LPA).
"This LPA is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), and we are not expecting it to enter the PAR," Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster Loriedin Galicia said.
