MANILA, Dec. 4 -- Several areas will continue to experience rains due to two prevailing weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Thursday.

The shear line will cause scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms across Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will experience rains caused by the northeast monsoon or "amihan".

Moderate to heavy rains in these areas could result in flash floods or landslides.

PAGASA said the northeast monsoon will also bring rains across Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
