Manila, April 23 -- The Quezon City government has secured 11 nominations in the University of the Philippines Los Banos - ComBroadSoc 19th Gandingan Awards for its effective and inclusive communication efforts that highlight public service, sustainability, gender equality, and community development.

In a news release on Wednesday, Mayor Joy Belmonte said the nominations reflect the city government's efforts to "communicate clearly, creatively, and meaningfully with our people."

"As a local government unit (LGU), we adhere to the principles of good governance, particularly transparency and citizen engagement," she said.
