Philippines, Feb. 10 -- The Quezon City (QC) government is offering hands-on training opportunities to aspiring veterinarians and senior high school (SHS) students through expanded veterinary training and on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
In a news release Monday, Mayor Belmonte said the QC Veterinary Department (QCVD) has partnered with the Quezon City High School for the implementation of a work immersion program for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) students.
She said the OJT program would help these students gain real-world experience and develop needed technical and professional skills, preparing them to be career-ready.
