Philippines, Feb. 26 -- The Quezon City government has ramped up its anti-dengue awareness campaign in schools to ensure that students, school officials including teachers, and parents are well-informed of preventive measures to mitigate the continuous surge of dengue cases in the city.

"Umabot na sa 2,555 ang kabuuang kaso ng dengue sa buong Quezon City as of Feb. 24, 2025. Ito ay 261.90 percent na mas mataas kumpara sa bilang ng dengue cases sa kaparehong panahon noong 2024 (The total number of dengue cases in Quezon City has reached 2,555 as of Feb. 24, 2025. This is 261.90 percent higher compared to the number of dengue cases in the same period in 2024)," the city's Facebook post on Wednesday read.
