Manila, June 4 -- Malacanang said Wednesday the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program will proceed, but emphasized that it must not be imposed hastily or without proper preparation of affected sectors.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon presented to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. the Public Transportation Modernization Program (PTMP) current challenges, particularly the readiness of jeepney drivers and operators to comply with cooperative and financial requirements.
