Manila, Feb. 4 -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) targets 13,876 Antiquenos to secure birth certificates under its Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).
PSA-Antique Chief Statistical Specialist Randy Tacogdoy, in an interview on Tuesday, said the targets from 18 municipalities were verified with no birth records by local civil registry offices (LCROs) and village officials.
"Most of the people who have no birth records live in remote areas that they do not have access to the LCROs and PSA," she said.
PSA has five teams which hold a mobile registrations in coordination with LCROs.
