DAVAO CITY, Nov. 21 -- The Davao Region's employment rate rose to 96.4 percent in July.

Data released by the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) 11 (Davao Region) here Friday showed that the figure is higher than the national estimate of 94.7 percent but slightly lower than the 96.9 percent logged in the same month last year.

The agency stated that, in terms of levels, the number of employed persons in July 2025 was recorded at 2.29 million.

Meanwhile, the region's underemployment rate increased to 10.5 percent in July, up from 3.9 percent in April and 3.7 percent in July last year.
