DUMAGUETE CITY, March 12 -- The Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will assist the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the identification and updating of active and de-listed beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The CBMS is the latest program of the PSA, aimed at collecting vital information and data from households, and will be implemented this year, according to Engr. Ariel Fortuito, PSA-Negros Oriental chief, in an interview with Philippine News Agency on Monday.

All the towns and cities in Negros Oriental have completed the CBMS, with Dumaguete City the last remaining LGU to be surveyed soon, he said.
