Manila, Feb. 20 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Friday finished the printing of the over 250,000 official ballots for the special polls in the Second District of Antipolo City set next month.

In a brief statement, Comelec Chairperson George Garcia said they have completed the printing of 252,793 ballots at the National Printing Office (NPO) in Quezon City afternoon of Feb. 20.

"Printing of Antipolo ballots done by 12:43 p.m. Sheeting of the ballots is ongoing," he said.

The printing process started at 9 a.m., according to a separate Comelec statement.
