Manila, Sept. 4 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) completed on Wednesday the printing of over 2.2 million official ballots to be used in the first-ever Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary Elections (BPE) scheduled for October 13.
Comelec chairperson George Garcia reported that they have finished printing the 2,250,935 official ballots.
"All printing is done. We finished this morning (Wednesday)," he said.
On August 28, the poll body resumed the printing of BPE ballots at the National Printing Office in Quezon City.
It also completed the verification of the ballots of four provinces in the region.
"Basilan, Maguindanao del Sur, Special Geographic Area, and Tawi-Tawi has been completed," Garcia ...
