Manila, June 11 -- Villar-owned PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. has pledged to resolve the water supply problem in Bulacan province before school opening, Malacanang said Wednesday.
The commitment was made after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. directed the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) to conduct an immediate investigation into the lack of stable water supply in public schools he inspected in Malolos and San Miguel towns in Bulacan.
In a press briefing, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said PrimeWater and the City of Malolos Water District (CMWD) have convened a meeting to address the water service failure in the province.
