Manilla, Dec. 31 -- An official of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines-Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (CBCP-ECMI) said he is praying for the slain Kuwaiti child and the overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who is the suspect in the crime.
"It is with a heavy heart that I address today regarding the tragic incident involving a Filipino maid accused of murdering a Kuwaiti child. This sorrowful event has deeply affected us all and we must come together in prayer and reflection," Bishop Ruperto Santos, vice chairman of the Commission, said in a statement on Tuesday.
