Manila, Feb. 2 -- The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) is advancing sustainable coastal development through international engagement while intensifying enforcement against illegal reclamation projects nationwide.

In a news release on Monday, the PRA said it recently engaged industry leaders in the United Arab Emirates to exchange best practices on environmentally responsible coastal and marine development and explore potential investment partnerships for the Philippines.

The engagements were held upon the invitation of NMDC Business Group, one of the world's largest engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and marine services companies.
