Manila, Feb. 17 -- A potential partnership between Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation (MIESCOR) and More Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) is now being explored to drive modernization and expansion of power distribution in Iloilo and Negros provinces.

Beyond engineering and construction, the collaboration will include comprehensive training programs for linemen and the establishment of a Utility Attachment Office to regulate telephone and cable line attachments to electric poles.

The initiative seeks to eliminate the hazardous and unsightly "spaghetti wiring" in Iloilo City, MORE Power said in a press statement on Monday.
