Manila, April 23 -- The Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC) has ordered an inspection of government buildings and infrastructures in Metro Manila following the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that struck Luzon on Monday.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Danilo Lim, MMDRRMC concurrent head, issued a memorandum directing all concerned MMDRRMC member agencies and local disaster risk reduction and management councils to conduct an inspection, focusing on the structural integrity of all government buildings in the metropolis.
