MANILA, Nov. 14 -- Acting Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on Friday mobilized intelligence and cybercrime units to identify and pursue individuals responsible for disseminating malicious bomb threats against the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila campus.

"The PNP is leaving no stone unturned in identifying and pursuing those responsible for this malicious bomb threat. Spreading false information, especially those that create panic and threatens the safety of the people, is a serious crime. We will hold the perpetrators accountable," Nartatez said in a statement.
