Manila, Feb. 5 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) has vowed to spare no effort in ensuring that this year's midterm polls are peaceful and credible.
PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil made this pledge at the Manila Overseas Press Club's (MOPC) Comelec and PNP Night, "The Game Changer:Peace and Order and May 2025 Elections" held in Makati City Tuesday.
Commission on Elections (Comelec) chair George Erwin Garcia served as another keynote speaker for the event.
During the event, Marbil outlined the PNP's ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order, combat illegal drugs, and enhance cybersecurity, all while preparing for the challenges of the upcoming elections.
