MANILA, Nov. 12 -- A total of 16,433 police personnel will be deployed for the simultaneous prayer rallies organized by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) and the United People's Initiative (UPI) in Manila and Quezon City from Nov. 16 to 18, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said on Wednesday.

In a press briefing at Camp Crame, NCRPO spokesperson Maj. Hazel Asilo said police officers will be deployed to the Rizal Park in Manila for the INC rally, and the EDSA People Power Monument for the UPI rally.

She added that for the EDSA rally, they will be coordinating with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority to address traffic congestion along the thoroughfare.
