Manila, Feb. 6 -- Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil on Thursday urged the 33,140 newly promoted police officers to uphold the highest standards of public service.
"Every position demands competence, integrity, and selfless dedication. Let this promotion inspire you to uphold the highest standards of responsible policing and serve as role models for those who will follow in your footsteps," Marbil said during the nationwide simultaneous oathtaking, donning and pinning of ranks of the promoted cops at the Camp Crame.
