MANILA, Oct. 17 -- Philippine National Police (PNP) acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., on Friday directed all police units to heighten health and safety measures to protect personnel and the public amid cases of seasonal flu that prompted class suspensions in Metro Manila.
This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., through the guidance of Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla, to ensure the continuous delivery of public services while safeguarding the health and welfare of government personnel and the communities they serve.
