MANILA, Dec. 8 -- Philippine National Police (PNP) acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on Monday ordered a thorough investigation into the killing of Gerry Campos, a broadcaster-turned-municipal councilor in Surigao del Sur.
This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure swift and thorough investigations in cases involving public servants, journalists and civilians, upholding the rule of law while protecting the rights and safety of all citizens.
