MANILA, June 13 -- Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III on Friday said he will impose a stricter firearms proficiency policy for all police officers to prevent the loss of innocent lives during operations.
In an interview on Friday, Torre said he plans to revisit the firearms proficiency of officers in top leadership positions by July, and later encompass personnel from the patrolman to general ranks.
