MANILA, Dec. 4 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday backed a proposal to dangle a reward for information that would lead to the arrest of former Ako Bicol Party-list representative Zaldy Co so he could face charges over alleged massive corruption in flood control projects.
In a statement, PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the PNP is already studying the implications of recommending a bounty while reinforcing its manhunt operations in coordination with the National Bureau of Investigation, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and local government units.
