MANILA, Dec. 5 -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) on Friday urged the public to give due attention to conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat (ENT) as the country marked Ear, Nose, and Throat Consciousness Week from Dec. 3 to 9.
With the theme emphasizing the importance of hearing, smell, and breathing in overall well-being, PhilHealth reminded Filipinos that ENT functions play a crucial role in daily activities and quality of life.
As part of the observance, the agency also underscored the availability of several benefit packages covering common ENT-related procedures.
