Manila, Sept. 5 -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation's (PhilHealth) Ilocos regional office is urging Pangasinenses to enroll and avail of the services of the Yaman ng Kalusugan (YAKAP) program, an improved version of the Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (Konsulta) program, with wider and better services for members and their dependents.

PhilHealth Ilocos Region public affairs unit head Joseph Manuel said in a phone interview on Friday that like Konsulta, YAKAP offers free primary care services, including consultations, health risk screenings, and selected laboratory tests and medicines, to all eligible Filipinos under the Universal Health Care (UHC) Law.
